  We ate a Gators last night, Saturday, and when we came in they said it would be a 35 minute wait. We decided to stay. There were about 15 people waiting to be seated, more in the bar area. For some reason they weren't using the upper level. Finally, a man who I took to be the owner or at least the manager, came out and said to start using the upper level. Some of the people had given up and left and several diners finished and started leaving and we were seated in less than 35 minutes. The waitress was very good, took our order but forgot to bring the salad, she apologized and comped the salad. The food come out fast and was fantastic. Better than Boudreaxs or Bourbon Street was. My wife wanted the lunch portion but since it was evening they couldn't do that. She just can't eat that much. All in all it was was an excellent meal and if it weren't for those few things I would have given them 5 stars.

  Service was horrible. We waited 45 minutes for our appetizers at 1pm on a Sunday when there were lots of open tables. $7 for 4 stuffed mushrooms. A table that was seated 15 min after us got their food first. Our waiter spent 20 min chatting with the table next to us. We ended up asking for our check before the food came. They did comp our ticket because they could tell we were upset.
